Shetland Architectural Society

Shetland Islands Council's Capital Programme Service provides Project Management and Design Services to the Council and other public bodies in Shetland. It also commissions work from Architectural practices in Shetland and the UK. The Service employs two chartered architects and one architectural technician.
The Councils Capital Programme is around £20m a year, a large part of which is building construction.
