Harbour House - Incorporated
complete restoration & refurbishment
of the original and listed harbour office building to
provide new town centre office space. In addition
new public toilets
and showers were provided in a contemporary addition
to the offices. This project won an Shetland Amenity
Trust
Environmental Award.
Scalloway Museum - Reuse of a redundant Woolen mill next
to form the Scalloway Museum. A complete refurbishment
with new fully glazed entrance extension to provide panoramic
views over Scalloway and the Castle. This project incorporated
a sustainable and renewable energy design approach with
high insulation levels, heat pump technology, low energy
use lighting and water facilities and low maintenance
siberian larch cladding.
Jubilee Park Pavilion - A new pavilion within the town's
conservation area to serve the established Jubilee park.
The contemporary style building provides a meeting space,sports
and park equipment storage and public toilet and shower
facilities. The Pavilion won a Shetland Amenity Trust
Environmental Award and was noted by the Civic Trust
Awards.
