Scalloway Waterfront:
Proposal commissioned by SLAP in conjunction with local landowners
to regenerate the historic waterfront area with a high quality
mixed use development of town houses, flats, offices and
commercial units based around a new public square with houses
right on the water's edge.
Anderson Buildings, Scalloway:
11 flats and Crèche
Scalloway Waterfront asked us to look at uses for redundant
or under used buildings in Scalloway. Our proposal for flats
and commercial units on this site was taken up by JHB Ltd.
who acquired the building and developed it for Hjaltland
Housing Association. A substantial amount of new build to
the rear of the retained Main Street block allows flats and
a commercial unit to be ranged around an internal atrium,
with top light coming from a central lantern.
